A simple yet powerful way to personalise any design is by customising the colours of its elements. By moving away from the default colours, you can instantly make the design feel more unique and aligned with your style or brand.
In Canva, many graphic elements give you the option to change colours the way I demonstrate here. As long as there are colour swatches in the top tool bar you're good to go.
If there aren't any swatches, changing colours isn't as straightforward. This will be covered in a different tutorial.

In our 'Pineapples' lesson Canva template, the colours of the pineapple graphic element and the lips graphic element are as we see them here on the left.
For variety, I changed the blue leaves to green, and the lips to a light pink like we see in the flowers, to create the pineapple on the right. ⬇️
